Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The websites aytechnet.com and aytechnet.fr and their customer area are operated by AYTECHNET, a French SARL with a share capital of €20,000, registered office Le Cayla, 15600 Leynhac (France), RCS Aurillac 502 088 792, VAT FR45502088792. Contact: contact@aytechnet.fr. Aytechnet has not appointed a DPO, as the nature and scale of its processing do not make it mandatory (Art. 37 GDPR).

2. Two distinct roles

  • For your account and your use of the site, Aytechnet is the controller: this policy applies.
  • For the data of the services Aytechnet provides to your company — the servers it monitors, the websites it hosts — Aytechnet is a processor on your behalf (Art. 28 GDPR), governed by the Data Processing Agreement (DPA — Schedule B of Aytechnet's terms of sale).

3. Data we process

  • Account: name, email address, language, password (stored hashed only), or the identity provided by Google or GitHub when you sign in with them (account identifier, email address, name).
  • Link to an Aytechnet customer: your email address is matched against Aytechnet's customer records (the customer company, or one of its contacts) to show you that customer's services. No data is added to those records by this matching.
  • Sign-in and use: session identifier, IP address and technical logs; in the supervision, the actions you take (e.g. acknowledging an alert: your email address, the date, the reason you give).
  • Supervision (as processor, see §2): technical data of the monitored servers — host names, state of services, disks and backups, events reported by the monitoring agent.
  • Newsletter (if you subscribe): email address, language and proof of consent.
  • Aytechnet does not store any card data.

4. Purposes and legal bases

  • Create and manage your account, give access to your company's services — performance of the contract.
  • Security, abuse prevention, keeping a record of actions taken in the supervision — legitimate interest.
  • Billing and accounting — legal obligation.
  • Newsletter — consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the link in each email.

5. Recipients and sub-processors

  • Hosting: OVH SAS (Roubaix, France), on servers operated by Aytechnet.
  • Sign-in with Google or GitHub, only if you choose it: Google LLC and GitHub, Inc. (United States) receive your sign-in request.
  • Emails (account, newsletter) are sent from Aytechnet's own mail server.
  • The pages load no resource from a third party: fonts and scripts are served by Aytechnet itself.

6. Transfers outside the EEA

Where a recipient is located outside the European Economic Area (Google, GitHub), Aytechnet relies on appropriate safeguards: the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses (Art. 45 ff. GDPR).

7. Retention

  • Account: for the duration of the relationship, then deleted.
  • Sign-in session: 30 days at most; sign-in logs: limited, proportionate to security.
  • Supervision data: the latest state of each monitored server, and alert acknowledgements until their deadline (90 days at most); deleted when the service ends.
  • Aytechnet's accounting records: 10 years (French Commercial Code).
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

8. Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, and the right to withdraw your consent. To exercise them: contact@aytechnet.fr. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr). For data processed on behalf of a customer company (supervision, hosting — see §2), requests should be addressed to that company, as controller; Aytechnet assists it (Schedule B of the terms of sale).

9. Cookies

No cookie is set when you merely browse the site, and there is no audience measurement. A strictly necessary session cookie is set only when you sign in; a short-lived technical cookie (10 minutes) protects the sign-in with Google or GitHub. These cookies require no consent. Any non-essential cookie would require your prior consent.

10. Changes

Aytechnet may update this policy; the applicable version is the one published at the date of your visit.
